We're excited to be building a new, patient-focused PPO dental practice and are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are currently seeking a hygienist for Thursdays, Fridays, or both , with the opportunity for full-time hours for the right candidate. with our growth. This is a great opportunity to join a new practice from the beginning and help create a positive, comfortable experience for our patients. We're looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent clinical care, enjoys connecting with patients, and understands that great dentistry starts with great relationships. What You'll Do Provide thorough and gentle preventive hygiene care for patients of all ages Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments and document findings Remove plaque, calculus, and stains while providing individualized preventive care Take dental X-rays and assist with other diagnostic procedures as needed Apply fluoride and other preventive treatments Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, periodontal health, and overall oral hygiene Review medical and dental histories and update patient records Recognize and document conditions such as gingivitis, periodontal disease, caries, and other oral abnormalities Communicate clinical findings and treatment recommendations with the dentist Provide patients with clear post-treatment and home-care instructions Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and sterilization protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked operatory Help create a welcoming, professional, and comfortable patient experience Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to provide exceptional patient care What We're Looking For Current Dental Hygiene license in good standing Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program CPR/BLS certification Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and patient-education skills A warm, friendly, and compassionate chairside manner Ability to build trust and lasting relationships with patients Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Comfortable working independently while collaborating with the dentist and dental team Knowledge of current infection-control, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements Ability to maintain accurate and thorough patient records Previous dental hygiene experience preferred, but we are open to the right candidate Why Join Our Practice?
