Duties Perform comprehensive installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs on dental and biomedical equipment in accordance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and industry standards. Conduct electrical diagnostics, mechanical inspections, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical components using advanced test equipment and hand tools. Read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering troubleshooting guides, and biomedical schematics to accurately diagnose issues. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future service tasks. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and biomedical regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities. Operate specialized test equipment for calibration and testing of medical electronics to verify equipment performance. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating technical information clearly to healthcare staff and ensuring minimal downtime of dental devices. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge for biomedical and dental equipment repair and maintenance. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, schematic reading, and interpretation of electrical diagrams. Experience with OEM equipment specifications, calibration procedures, and advanced electronics troubleshooting for biomedical devices. Skilled in the use of hand tools, test instruments, and computer hardware related to field service operations. Knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) standards, biomedical engineering practices within healthcare environments, and regulatory compliance protocols. Ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced settings.
