Responsibilities:

• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, implants, and root canals
• Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
• Develop treatment plans for patients based on their dental needs
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• Utilize dental software systems such as Dentrix and Epic for patient management

Skills:

• Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry
• Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
• Experience working with pediatric patients and providing age-appropriate dental care
• Familiarity with digital scanning technology
• Understanding of medical imaging techniques for diagnosing dental conditions
