In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry, combined with your ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate compassionate patient care, will contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in utilizing advanced dental technology and software, including Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix, to deliver high-quality treatment. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using medical imaging tools. Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and patient needs while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare guidelines. Conduct a wide range of procedures such as dental cleanings, restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and dental implants. Utilize aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures. Collaborate with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care using clear dental terminology and client communication skills. Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with healthcare diagnosis standards and legal requirements. Assist in complex cases involving pediatric dentistry or specialized treatments like orthodontics or prosthodontics as needed. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy rules and state-specific healthcare laws. Support the dental team by participating in team meetings, training sessions on new technologies such as Epic or Eaglesoft software updates, and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials. Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or office environment. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Skilled in performing diverse procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and implant placement. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience managing medical records securely. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus; experience with Four-handed dentistry techniques is desirable for efficiency.
