Full Job Description Join Our Team:
Associate Therapist Mindful Transitions Therapy is a growing private practice serving clients throughout California, with in-person services available in the Temecula Valley. I am building a team where clinicians feel supported, trusted, and genuinely connected. I believe therapists do their best work when they can be themselves, strengthen their skills, and receive approachable, honest supervision. This practice supports women and parents navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, relationship strain, trauma recovery, identity changes, and overwhelming life transitions. The goal is to provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care while creating relationships that feel warm, authentic, and human. I am seeking a compassionate pre-licensed therapist who communicates reliably, welcomes feedback, and balances independence with collaboration. Clinicians receive supervision, referrals, administrative support, and opportunities to develop specialized experience. My intention is for you to feel challenged enough to grow, supported enough to ask questions, and valued as both a clinician and a person. By joining our team you will be provided with: Compensation ranges from $40-$50 per clinical hour, based on licensure and relevant experience. Paid administrative time Office space with materials to use during sessions with clients Access to a HIPAA-compliant EHR and telehealth platform Templates for intakes, notes, and communication with clients Company email Practice-funded marketing, including a Psychology Today profile Flexible scheduling (you create your own schedule) Case consultation and continuing support Insurance credentialing and billing support. Supervision Position Responsibilities:
Provide individual therapy to assigned clients Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge documentation Maintain timely and accurate clinical records Participate in required individual or group supervision Attend team meetings and case consultations Communicate professionally with clients and practice leadership Maintain ethical and legal standards established by the BBS Build and maintain an agreed-upon caseload Provide in-person and telehealth appointments Participate in practice marketing or networking, if expected Our ideal candidate: Is warm, caring, and passionate about providing high-quality, client-centered therapy Brings authenticity, curiosity, and their own personality into the therapy room Values collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and inclusive care Is motivated to strengthen their clinical skills through supervision and consultation Welcomes thoughtful feedback and feels comfortable asking questions Can work independently while remaining connected to the team Wants to develop their clinical interests within a supportive private-practice setting
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related mental health field Active California associate registration with the BBS, including AMFT, APCC, or ACSW status Ability to provide both in-person services in Temecula and telehealth services throughout California Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational, time-management, and clinical documentation skills Ability to work independently and responsibly manage a clinical caseload Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and client-centered care Availability to provide some evening or weekend appointments
Preferred:
Experience providing therapy to clients from diverse backgrounds Experience working with adults, adolescents, women, or parents Experience providing telehealth services Experience facilitating therapy or support groups Specialized training or clinical interest in perinatal mental health, trauma, relationships, identity development, or major life transitions Familiarity with trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment approaches
