Description Position Overview West Valley Psychotherapy Center is seeking licensed and passionate mental health therapists to join our dynamic team as full-time Clinical Therapists. Work Environment This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, utilizing telehealth technology to deliver therapy sessions. You will use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform that allows for seamless communication and interaction with clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine individual client needs and challenges, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide high-quality individual and group therapy sessions. Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, fostering a sense of community and connection among clients. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for clients. Provide crisis intervention services, responding swiftly to mental health emergencies with compassion and professionalism. Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources. Maintain up-to-date and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using an electronic health record (EHR) system. Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in case consultations, training, and staying abreast of the latest research in the field. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse population, including individuals of various age groups and backgrounds facing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges. Your role will empower clients to develop coping skills, improve their emotional resilience, and enhance their overall well-being. Qualifications A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey. Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidenced-based treatment techniques. Demonstrated ability to conduct impactful mental health assessments and devise effective treatment strategies. Experience providing therapy to a wide range of clients, adept at using various therapeutic modalities and styles. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients. Proficient in using EHR systems and basic computer software applications. A collaborative mindset, eager to work within a multidisciplinary team approach. Preferred Experience Experience in telehealth services and familiarity with relevant technology and platforms. Previous work with diverse or underserved populations, enhancing your ability to address varied mental health needs. Knowledge of local community resources that can support clients outside of therapy. Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
