Part-Time Behavior Technician :
Woodbury, LONG ISLAND (WEEKDAY

), Monday- Friday

Do you have a positive attitude and want to help remove barriers that keep children and families from living their best life possible? If you said yes to these questions, you could be a great fit for our organization as a Behavior Technician. You bring passion; we provide the training and support you need to be successful. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work in-home one-on-one to support children & adolescents with autism, or other developmental disabilities. Duties include, implementation of programs, collect reliable data, and work with your supervisor to create a plan specifically tailored to each child or adolescent. This is a great part-time position for evening or weekends that could open the door to a new career changing lives, including your own.
ABA Therapists will: Work 1:1 with clients following individualized ABA treatment plans for children & adolescents with autism in the home settings .
Receive ongoing support and supervision in the field by BCBA level staff.
The most important qualification is a positive attitude and passion for helping others.
Job Qualifications

Required:

Minimum HS Diploma
Experience working with children 11 years or younger. Any experience in relation to working with children: such as a nanny, camp counselor, respite care, teacher, parents, school aid with children, early childcare provider
Valid NY driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pass an
FBI/ DOJ
Clearance
HS Diploma, BA in Psychology, Child Development, Communication Disorders, Education or related field
Experience with children with autism
If you decide to pursue an MA in ABA, BCBA, supervision training will be provided.
