Part-Time Behavior Technician :
Woodbury, LONG ISLAND (WEEKDAY
AFTER SCHOOL
), Monday- Friday
PART TIME AFTER SCHOOL HOURS

Do you have a positive attitude and want to help remove barriers that keep children and families from living their best life possible? If you said yes to these questions, you could be a great fit for our organization as a Behavior Technician. You bring passion; we provide the training and support you need to be successful. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work in-home one-on-one to support children & adolescents with autism, or other developmental disabilities. Duties include, implementation of programs, collect reliable data, and work with your supervisor to create a plan specifically tailored to each child or adolescent. This is a great part-time position for evening or weekends that could open the door to a new career changing lives, including your own.
  • ABA Therapists will: Work 1:1 with clients following individualized ABA treatment plans for children & adolescents with autism in the home settings .
  • Receive ongoing support and supervision in the field by BCBA level staff.
  • The most important qualification is a positive attitude and passion for helping others.

Required:

  • Minimum HS Diploma
  • Experience working with children 11 years or younger. Any experience in relation to working with children: such as a nanny, camp counselor, respite care, teacher, parents, school aid with children, early childcare provider
  • Valid NY driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Pass an
FBI/ DOJ
Clearance
  • HS Diploma, BA in Psychology, Child Development, Communication Disorders, Education or related field
  • Experience with children with autism
  • If you decide to pursue an MA in ABA, BCBA, supervision training will be provided.
