About The Cozy Corner Counseling The Cozy Corner Counseling is a growing, clinician-centered private practice serving Pennsylvania. We believe healing happens through genuine human connection, and that philosophy extends beyond our clients to our team. We provide referrals, administrative infrastructure, billing support, and a collaborative environment so our clinicians can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time helping clients heal, grow, and thrive. We provide affirming, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care across the lifespan. As our practice continues to grow, we're especially looking to expand the support we offer to mothers throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions that come with motherhood. About the Role The Cozy Corner Counseling is seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Maternal & Perinatal Mental Health Therapist (LAPC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, etc.) licensed in Pennsylvania. This W-2 position is ideal for a clinician who has a special interest in working with moms , whether you're already experienced in perinatal mental health or you're passionate about developing this area of your clinical work. We're especially interested in clinicians who enjoy supporting clients navigating: Pregnancy and prenatal mental health Postpartum adjustment Perinatal anxiety and depression Birth trauma and difficult birth experiences Pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, and grief Infertility and fertility journeys NICU experiences Identity shifts and adjustment to motherhood Mom guilt, perfectionism, and comparison Burnout, overwhelm, and the mental load of motherhood Relationship and intimacy changes after becoming parents Returning to work after maternity leave Parenting stress and family transitions Trauma and attachment Anxiety, depression, and OCD Breaking generational patterns and cycle breaking Culturally responsive experiences of motherhood LGBTQ+ family building and parenthood Training or certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C), EMDR, IFS, CBT, ACT, somatic approaches, or other trauma-focused modalities is a plus, but not required. We welcome clinicians who are genuinely interested in growing their knowledge and specialization in maternal and perinatal mental health. What Success Looks Like Creating a space where moms feel safe being honest about the realities of pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood Building trusting, authentic therapeutic relationships Providing compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally affirming care Supporting clients through major identity and life transitions Collaborating with OB/GYNs, midwives, doulas, psychiatrists, pediatricians, and other providers when clinically appropriate Completing documentation accurately and on time Maintaining a healthy, sustainable caseload Continuing to grow professionally through training, consultation, and collaboration Contributing to a warm and supportive team culture Scheduling Expectations We recognize that pregnancy, postpartum, parenting, work, childcare, and family life can make finding time for therapy complicated. For this role, we're especially interested in clinicians who can offer consistent morning and daytime availability , with some flexibility to accommodate working parents. Ideal availability includes early morning and daytime appointments, with at least one evening block preferred. Weekend availability is welcome but not required. We value flexibility and work-life balance for our clinicians, too. When you join our team, you'll receive: Competitive compensation Paid administrative time Flexible scheduling Weekly direct deposit Administrative, billing, credentialing, and EHR support Consistent client referrals Professional development opportunities Benefits that support clinician wellness Opportunities to develop or expand a maternal and perinatal mental health specialty Opportunities for leadership, specialization, groups, workshops, and community programming A collaborative, inclusive, and affirming team culture Responsibilities Provide individual therapy to adults, with a special focus on pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood Complete comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered care Collaborate with other healthcare and community providers when clinically appropriate and with client consent Deliver services in accordance with HIPAA regulations and professional ethical standards Utilize HIPAA-compliant technology and electronic health records Participate in team meetings, trainings, consultation, and collaborative opportunities Maintain current licensure, required clearances, and professional liability coverage Qualifications Active Pennsylvania license (LAPC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent) New Jersey licensure is a plus but not required Genuine interest in working with pregnant, postpartum, and parenting clients Experience in perinatal or maternal mental health is preferred but not required PMH-C certification or perinatal mental health training is a plus Strong commitment to trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally affirming care Ability to work independently while collaborating within a supportive team Familiarity with electronic health records and virtual therapy platforms Commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth Bilingual Spanish-speaking clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply Most importantly, we're looking for someone who understands that moms deserve a place where they can be cared for, too.
