Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES I. JOB SUMMARY
Assists in coordinating and monitoring of the daily operations Queen's North Hawaii Community Hospital (QNHCH) Ambulatory Clinics. Assists Manager in ensuring functions and activities performed are within department and QNHCH policies and procedures, and operations meet quality standards and established organizational goals and objectives Performs administrative support activities for the Manager.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree required; or two (2) years administrative/clerical experience or in healthcare may substitute for the educational requirement.
B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
No certification and/or licensure requirement.
C. EXPERIENCE
In addition to the educational requirement, one (1) year administrative, secretarial, medical office, operational or coordination experience. Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems preferred. Experience in a healthcare, physician practice, ambulatory clinic, or hospital setting preferred.
Experience to demonstrate:
o Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel). o Ability to communicate in English effectively, both verbal and in writing with a broad range of people. o Ability to provide excellent customer service. o Knowledge of medical terminology. o Demonstrated ability to work effectively with physicians. o Demonstrated knowledge in third party and government payor and reimbursement regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid program requirements.
