Based in San Antonio, Texas, we proudly serve clients across the state, delivering professional on-site hearing testing and training services. We are seeking a dependable, independent, and customer-focused Audiometric Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in occupational health and safety. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys traveling, working hands-on, and engaging directly with clients in the field. Responsibilities Conduct on-site, OSHA compliant, hearing testing and training for clients throughout Texas. Operate and drive a 30ft mobile testing truck (CDL not required). Work a flexible schedule , including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends. Travel frequently (approx. 60%), including overnight assignments and trips lasting up to one week. Complete occasional office and clinic-based tasks as needed. Maintain accurate records and utilize Microsoft Word & Excel for reporting.
Qualifications Required :
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently. Experience driving large vehicles (30ft+ box trucks/shuttles). Clean driving record. Willingness to undergo pre-employment and random drug testing. Basic computer knowledge (Word & Excel).
Preferred but not required:
CAOHC Certification (training/certification provided if not yet certified). Experience with hearing screenings or respirator fit testing. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
