Hearing & Vision Screener

• Part-Time/Seasonal We are seeking friendly, dependable individuals to join our team providing health screenings to Pre-K through 12th-grade students at schools throughout the area.

No prior screening experience is required. Training is provided.

Schedule:

This is a part-time, seasonal position, with most work occurring August through December and occasional opportunities January through June. Hours are not guaranteed and vary based on the number of schools scheduled for screening services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct student vision and hearing screenings using standardized equipment and procedures
• Perform scoliosis and Acanthosis Nigricans (AN) screenings after appropriate training/certification
• Accurately document screening results
• Communicate clearly and positively with students from Pre-K through 12th grade
• Safely operate and care for screening equipment
• Work cooperatively with other screening team members
• Complete required certification courses with guidance from our

Director Qualifications:

• No prior experience required
• Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working with children and teenagers
• Able to learn and follow standardized screening procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team Paid training is provided.
