(Partners in Advocacy, Growth, and Empowerment Incorporated) Rancho Cordova, CA Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Paid time off Paid orientation Safety equipment provided Referral program Paid sick time Qualifications CPR Certification HIPAA Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Care plan implementation Full Job Description Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team at PAGE Day Program (Partners in Advocacy, Growth, and Empowerment Day Program) . Our DSPs provide direct support to adults with developmental disabilities, including individuals with behavioral support needs, in both site-based and community settings . The DSP will assist individuals in developing greater independence, participating in meaningful activities, building daily living and social skills, and accessing their community while maintaining a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision and support to adults with developmental disabilities. Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, and self-care needs as appropriate. Implement individualized service plans, behavioral strategies, and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as directed by the interdisciplinary team. Facilitate structured activities and meaningful participation in both site-based programming and community outings/outreach . Observe, document, and accurately collect behavioral and program-related data. Encourage independence, choice, dignity, and appropriate social interaction. Utilize approved behavioral intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary. Maintain a safe and supportive environment and promptly report incidents, behavioral concerns, or changes in an individual's condition. Collaborate with the Program Director, Program Manager, Team Leads, Behavior Management Consultant, families, regional center representatives, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Participate in staff meetings, training, emergency drills, and required continuing education. Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, Title 17, Title 22 requirements, and PAGE policies and procedures .

From $20.00 per hour
