We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced LPN/RN Director of QAPI and Staff Development Nurse to join our team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Calvert Manor, a state-of-the-art nursing home located in Essex, Maryland. As a Director of QAPI and Staff Development, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality care and staff development within our facility. Responsibilities:
  • Lead the
QA Team:

Oversee the Quality Assurance program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    Develop and Implement Training Programs:

    Design and implement comprehensive training programs for staff members, focusing on skills development, knowledge enhancement, and performance improvement.

      Conduct Performance Evaluations:

      Lead regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to staff members.

      • Foster a
      Positive Work Environment:

      Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting open communication, collaboration, and staff engagement.

        Monitor and Report Quality Metrics:

        Track and analyze quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

        Requirements:
        • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or staff development role in a healthcare setting.
        • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
        • Must be an ed nurse (RN)
