Job Summary Sign-on bonus: $1500 (Stipulations Apply) We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including long-term care facilities. Your expertise will support patient recovery, comfort, and well-being through comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and collaborative care planning. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheterization with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' conditions closely, manage acute pain, and respond promptly to emergencies such as airway management. Assist with diagnostic evaluations such as specimen collection/processing and coordinate discharge planning for optimal patient outcomes. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies while documenting medical records accurately. Provide patient education on medication use, health coaching strategies, and post-discharge care instructions to promote ongoing wellness. Skills Proven experience working in various healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home care settings. Skilled in advanced nursing procedures such as IV insertion/insertion techniques, sterile processing, suturing, and infection control practices. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with physiology knowledge to evaluate complex cases involving acute pain management or infectious disease care. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or memory care services. Physical stamina to perform duties that include standing for extended periods and assisting patients with mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or Hoyer lifts.
