Thompson House is a small, nonprofit, mission-driven rehabilitation and long-term care nursing center serving Brattleboro, Vermont and the surrounding communities. We currently have one opening on our 7:00 AM-3:00 PM shift, including every other weekend , and we're looking for a compassionate nurse who wants to be part of a supportive, team-focused environment. We use little to no agency staffing and believe in investing in our own team. If you're a positive, dependable nurse who values quality resident care, teamwork, infection prevention, and doing things the right way, we'd love to hear from you. What you'll do: Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, assessments, and monitoring Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and carry out individualized care plans Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Communicate changes in resident condition to the appropriate members of the care team Educate and support residents and families Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, infection prevention practices, and facility policies What we're looking for: Current Vermont RN or LPN license, or eligibility for Vermont licensure Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and medication administration skills Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Positive communication style and a resident-centered approach to care Why Thompson House?
