Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand specific concerns and develop personalized treatment plans Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information using appropriate medical terminology Stay current with industry best practices and expand your expertise in areas such as physiology knowledge and pain management techniques Ensure adherence to health and safety standards by following proper sanitation procedures and maintaining a clean treatment environment Promote customer service excellence by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client retention and positive reviews Requirements Valid certification or license in massage therapy from an accredited program Proven experience with various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly and listen attentively to client concerns Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management practices Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) or equivalent first aid training preferred Prior experience working in occupational health or med spa environments is a plus Commitment to providing exceptional patient service with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help others feel their best every day!
