Duties Perform a range of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans Utilize your knowledge of physiology and anatomy to target specific areas of pain or tension effectively Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options, progress, and post-session care instructions Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback, treatment details, and progress notes Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices Provide exceptional patient service by creating a relaxing environment and addressing client questions or concerns with professionalism Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR Proven experience in massage therapy, ideally with med spa or occupational health backgrounds Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques Hands-on experience with various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively with diverse clients Previous experience working in a medical spa setting or similar environment is highly desirable Familiarity with customer service principles and client communication strategies to ensure a positive experience for every visitor Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference in people's lives.
