Experienced Medical Assistant in Urgent Care Clinic Trust Now Urgent Care

Calallen, Texas Position:

Full-time and Part-Time positions available We're looking for an experienced Medical Assistant who takes pride in excellent patient care—the kind of person who notices when a patient is anxious, keeps the clinical team prepared, and stays calm when the pace picks up. If you have strong hands-on skills, sound judgment about when to ask for help, and a genuine desire to make patients feel cared for, we'd love to meet you. What You Will Do

• Welcome and room patients, obtain accurate vital signs, and document patient histories and medication information.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and point-of-care testing within your training and assigned duties.
• Administer injections and medications only as appropriately ordered, delegated, and authorized.
• Assist providers with wound care, splinting, and other urgent-care procedures.
• Recognize changes in a patient's condition and promptly alert the clinical team.
• Keep exam rooms stocked, clean, and ready while supporting an efficient patient flow.
• Help patients understand provider-approved instructions with patience and respect. What We Are Looking For
• At least two years of hands-on medical assisting experience, preferably in urgent care or another fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Strong phlebotomy, EKG, specimen collection, and clinical documentation skills.
• National Medical Assistant certification preferred—CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA.
• Current BLS certification.
• Confidence using an electronic medical record; Experity experience is a plus.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a willingness to support your teammates.
• Above all, a compassionate approach to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
