Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit is required at the time of application (pending permits must include a DEEDS portal screenshot). Prior experience supporting educators and students in a school setting, particularly at the elementary level, is highly desirable. Willingness to complete required fingerprinting/background check (fee covered by candidate). Strong communication skills, patience, and a collaborative mindset. Ability to adapt and provide programmatic support across kindergarten classrooms. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) are welcome, but will not receive district or agency supervision or compensation specific to RBT credentials.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver daily classroom and programmatic assistance under the direction of teachers and staff. Foster a supportive atmosphere for young students academic and social growth. Assist with classroom management, student engagement, and activities. Collaborate with educators to address individual and group needs across kindergarten classrooms.
