Job Description

Make a real impact each school day by supporting students with intensive behavioral needs as a contract paraprofessional. This high-demand opportunity connects you with a pool of available positions across K-12 settings, serving students requiring moderate to high-intensity supportincluding those with autism and challenging behaviors. Assignments are available immediately and continue through June 2027, with placements in the Quakertown, Levittown, and Perkasie areas. Schedules require full-time weekday flexibility between 6:45 AM and 4:01 PM, as dictated by each school site.
What youll bring:
A minimum of 1 years experience as a paraprofessional in school special education classrooms (PreK12) with children impacted by severe autism and significant behavioral needs. Familiarity and comfort supporting students presenting with aggressive/self-injurious behaviors, intensive safety needs, and hands-on responsibilities (including toileting, diapering, feeding, and transfers). Experience with MDS, ADL, AS3, and behavioral interventions. Residency within a 35-minute commute of the assignment area. Availability for a mandatory orientation week before starting (no exceptions). Possession of, or willingness to quickly obtain, a qualifying PA paraprofessional credential (associate degree, 48 college credits, CDA, or completion of state modules within 60 days). In this role, you will: Provide 1:1 or small group student support in highly structured, behavioral settings. Implement individualized safety and behavioral intervention plans. Collaborate with classroom teachers and school teams to ensure a supportive, consistent environment for students with exceptional needs. Remain adaptable to varying assignments based on school needs and pool availability.
