Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Behavioral Health Technician training program or relevant certification is required. Basic knowledge of mental health disorders, clinical assessments, and patient care principles. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate degree or higher in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health field. Previous experience working with children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances (SED). Certification in crisis intervention or de-escalation techniques. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and advanced clinical documentation software. Training in trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices.
