Our rural Kansas medical center is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our team. On-Call Schedule:

One weeknight per week; one weekend every 6 weeks (ER). Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited Master of Nursing program and successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program; or completion of a four-year accredited Physician Assistant/Associate program and a year of clinical training; or completion of a two-year accredited PA program plus two years of clinic training, required. Current state license to practice as a PA or APRN ACLS and PALS current or within 90 days of hire. ATLS current or within 6 months of hire; BLS. Experience Previous experience related to the management of inpatient and ED care, required. Women's Health and/or GYN experience strongly preferred. About KRRC The Kansas Recruitment and Retention Center (KRRC) partners with hospitals, private practices, community health centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), and other organizations to help strengthen the health care workforce in rural and urban under resourced communities across the State. KRRC services are designed to assist Kansas communities in recruiting and retaining physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, APRNs, nurses, dental hygienists, allied health professionals, and behavioral health professionals. In addition to offering recruitment support for Kansas health care facilities and job search support to a variety of health care providers, the KRRC offers resources for CV/resume building, interview prep, and contract negotiation. Currently partnering with 55+ health care organizations, we serve as their initial point of contact and liaison in recruiting those seeking to serve in rural and urban underserved communities.
