Turn Your Caregiving Experience into Leadership Home Instead is seeking an experienced, professional, and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Georgia team as a Caregiver (Care Professional) Support Coach. This is an opportunity for an experienced CNA who is ready to take the next step beyond traditional caregiving and use their knowledge to coach, mentor, train, and develop other Care Professionals. The Caregiver (Care Professional) Support Coach is a hands-on field leader and trusted resource for our caregivers. You will work alongside caregivers in clients' homes to strengthen skills, build confidence, reinforce expectations, and help ensure safe, high-quality care. This role also supports caregiver engagement, satisfaction, performance, and retention. The territories for this position are Suwanee, Buford, Gainesville, Dawsonville, Clermont, and surrounding areas What You'll Do Lead, manage, coach, and hold caregivers accountable to Home Instead standards and expectations. Mentor and support new and existing caregivers while providing clear, constructive performance feedback. Conduct caregiver supervisor visits, coaching conversations, annual reviews, and corrective action as assigned. Provide hands-on caregiver skills training and in-home coaching for ADLs and IADLs, including personal care, transfers, lifting, mobility assistance, and safe caregiving techniques. Conduct shadow shifts with new caregivers to teach, mentor, and prepare them for client assignments. Complete Yellow-to-Red Readiness Assessments to evaluate caregiver skills and readiness for higher-needs clients. Assist with stabilizing new clients and clients with higher care needs. Identify caregiver skill gaps, recommend additional training, and maintain accurate documentation of skills, coaching, and performance. Partner with Scheduling, Client Care, and Caregiver leadership to support successful Caregivers/client matches. Assist with client/caregiver introductions and provide emergency caregiver coverage when needed to maintain continuity of care. What We're Looking For Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. 5+ years of professional caregiving experience preferred. Previous experience training, mentoring, coaching, leading, or supervising caregivers strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of personal care, ADLs, IADLs, transfers, lifting, mobility assistance, and safe caregiving practices. Professional appearance and demeanor with a strong leadership presence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively. Ability to balance encouragement and support with accountability and direct feedback. Sound judgment, strong problem-solving skills, integrity, discretion, and dependable follow-through. Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally. Comfortable working with clients of varying care needs and in homes with pets. Some early morning, evening, or weekend availability may be required.
