Job Description

Job Summary Care For Elders, LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or CNA for an in-home client located near the Mall of Georgia in Buford, GA . The client is recovering from spinal surgery and currently has limited mobility, requiring hands-on assistance with personal care, repositioning, mobility, and daily activities. We are looking for a caregiver who has experience supporting clients with significant mobility limitations and who can provide consistent, respectful, safe, and dependable care six days per week .
Schedule:
Monday through Saturday Approximately 4 hours per day / 24 hours per week Typical shift: 9:00 AM-1:00 PM or 10:00 AM-2:00 PM The start time may have some flexibility based on the client's needs.
Pay:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour , based on CNA credentials, relevant hands-on experience, and qualifications. Responsibilities Assist with sponge bathing and personal hygiene Assist with dressing and grooming Provide diaper/incontinence care Assist with mobility and safe movement Help with light exercises and range-of-motion activities as directed in the care plan Assist with transfers and repositioning for comfort and safety Provide companionship and supervision for the client's safety and well-being Prepare simple meals or snacks as needed Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care Observe and promptly report changes in the client's condition or needs Complete required CFE client-care documentation Use CFE's Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system to clock in at the beginning and clock out at the end of every shift Complete the required weekly paper timesheet and obtain client/client-representative initials Qualifications Current CNA certification OR at least 2 years of substantial hands-on PCA/caregiver experience; 3+ years preferred Experience caring for a bed-bound or limited-mobility client strongly preferred Experience with sponge bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, incontinence care, repositioning, mobility assistance, and transfers Comfortable providing hands-on assistance with ADLs Able to safely assist with repositioning, mobility, and transfers according to the client's care plan and CFE training Dependable and able to maintain a consistent Monday-Saturday schedule Patient, respectful, attentive, and focused on client safety and comfort Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Able to commute reliably to the Mall of Georgia/Buford area CPR/First Aid certification required before assignment Current TB test result required before assignment, or willingness to obtain one before starting Must meet Care For Elders, LLC background screening, employment, training, and competency requirements Join us in delivering high-quality home health care that enriches lives! $16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week Application Question(s): Do you have a current CNA certification? Do you have experience helping clients with mobility exercises or range-of-motion activities under a care plan? Can you reliably commute to the Mall of Georgia area in Buford, GA, six days per week? Are you comfortable using a mobile app for EVV clock-in/clock-out and completing a weekly paper timesheet for client initials? Are you legally authorized to work in the United States? How many years of hands-on PCA/CNA/caregiver experience do you have? Do you have experience caring for a bed-bound or significantly limited-mobility client? Are you comfortable providing hands-on assistance with sponge bathing, dressing, diaper/incontinence care, repositioning, mobility, and transfers? Are you consistently available Monday through Saturday for approximately four hours per day, around 9 AM-1 PM or 10 AM-2 PM? Do you have current CPR/First Aid certification and a current TB test, or are you willing to obtain both before starting the assignment? Are you comfortable using a mobile EVV application to clock in/out and completing a weekly paper timesheet requiring client/client-representative initials? If selected, how soon could you start?
