The Nurse Assistant will support nurses and other clinical staff in providing safe, respectful, and high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, communicates effectively, and is committed to maintaining patient comfort and dignity. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility. Help patients transfer, reposition, and ambulate safely. Obtain and document vital signs, weight, intake and output, and other information as directed. Assist with meals and feeding according to each patient's care plan. Respond promptly to patient needs and call lights. Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable patient rooms. Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition or behavior to the appropriate nurse. Assist nursing staff with patient care procedures within the Nurse Assistant's permitted scope of practice. Follow infection prevention, safety, confidentiality, and facility policies. Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team. Perform other patient-care duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED, if required by the organization. Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team. Ability to perform the physical responsibilities associated with providing direct patient care.

Preferred:

Previous experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, assisted living community, or similar healthcare environment. Current CPR/BLS certification. Experience providing direct care to older adults or individuals with complex healthcare needs.
