Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care within our clinic, ensuring that both administrative and clinical tasks are performed efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Duties Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and answering questions. Support the administrative functions of the clinic, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Requirements Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting/CNA from an accredited program is preferred. Experience in a clinical setting, particularly with outpatient or inpatient care, is highly desirable. Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding emergency medicine protocols. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding practices, and administrative support functions. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism. $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
