Job Description

RiverWoods Durham seeks compassionate LNA/MNAs for per diem roles on all shifts in our resident-centered CCRC. In this role, you'll provide hands-on support with daily living and medications, promote dignity and independence, and closely monitor residents' wellbeing across independent, assisted living, memory support, and nursing care settings. Collaborate with a skilled, mission-driven team in a respectful, supportive environment that values wellness, teamwork, and professional growth while you build meaningful relationships with older adults and their families. Responsibilities Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents across care levels. Support medication administration under appropriate supervision and in accordance with facility policies and regulations. Monitor, document, and report changes in residents' condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff promptly. Promote resident independence, dignity, and wellness through respectful, person-centered interactions. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents on all assigned shifts. Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to carry out personalized care plans. Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols at all times. Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and equipment. Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with residents and families. Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain skills and certifications.
