r41089-19355 Job Description School-Based CNA Elementary Student Support Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide dedicated support to an elementary-aged student with diabetes management needs in a school setting. The CNA will work closely with the student throughout the school day to help maintain their health, safety, and ability to fully participate in the classroom and school activities. The schools Registered Nurse (RN) will provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to ensure the CNA is comfortable and prepared to meet the student's needs.

Happening ASAP Responsibilities Provide one-on-one support to an elementary-aged student throughout the school day Assist with diabetes management and health-related needs as directed by the school RN Monitor the student for changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately Follow the students individualized healthcare plan and school health protocols Support the students participation in classroom activities, specials, recess, lunch, and other school activities Assist with daily living and personal care needs as appropriate Maintain accurate documentation as required Communicate effectively with the school RN, teachers, and school staff Maintain student privacy and confidentiality Respond appropriately to health or medical concerns and follow established emergency procedures Qualifications Active CNA certification required Experience working with children (preferred but not required) School, pediatric, or special education experience is a plus Comfortable providing one-on-one support Experience working with diabetes (preferred but not required) Willingness to learn and follow diabetes management protocols What We Offer $25/hour 35 guaranteed hours per week Full-time school-based schedule Training and ongoing support from the schools Registered Nurse Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an elementary students daily life
