Role Overview:

As a Caregiver / CNA at FirstLight Home Care of the Main Line for this morning opportunity in Malvern, PA, you will be responsible for providing non-medical in-home care support to an extraordinary client who is living at home with family caregivers in recovery from stroke. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our office team and family caregivers to ensure that the client receives services that enhance his comfort and quality of life. The support plan requires mornings shifts from approximately 8:30am - 1:00pm. As a caregiver on the client's team, You will have the flexibility to choose the morning days that will work with your availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist client with daily morning personal care needs, including daily bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting and continence care as needed. Support client with daily nutrition and hydration through meal service including assistance with meal preparation, eating and cleanup as needed. Support client and family care team with participating in daily stroke rehab exercise routine as requested. Support client with daily companionship, socialization and engagement as time allows.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Valid CNA certification or equivalent experience in caregiving. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members. Empathy and compassion for clients, with a genuine desire to improve their quality of life. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and provide personal care. Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedule preferences.

Employment Type & Availability:

This is a Part-Time position with morning shifts from approximately 8:30am - 1pm every day of the week including weekends.

This position is on-site only and located in Malvern, Pennsylvania, 19355.
