Role Description The Nursing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Watsonville, CA. This position oversees clinical operations, including supervising nursing staff, coordinating patient care plans, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing schedules, providing clinical guidance, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting professional development for the care team. The Nursing Manager collaborates with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, maintain documentation accuracy, and promote quality improvement initiatives. The role also involves communicating with patients and families, addressing concerns, and fostering a respectful and supportive care environment. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Nursing Management, including team leadership, staff supervision, and coordination of clinical workflows. Strong foundation in Nursing and Medicine, with the ability to apply evidence-based practices to home health and long-term care settings. Experience in Critical Care Medicine or complex patient care, with the capability to assess, triage, and respond to changing clinical conditions. Commitment to high-quality Patient Care, emphasizing safety, comfort, and culturally responsive, person-centered services. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California; BSN or higher degree in Nursing or a related field preferred. Prior leadership experience in home health, skilled nursing, or similar care environments, including familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards. Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, including competence with electronic health records and basic clinical technologies.
Pay:
$58.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
