Job Description
Nurse Manager - Cancer Care Center Springfield, GA Full - TIme Job Summary We are seeking an experienced
- Nurse Manager
- to oversee daily operations of a busy Cancer Care Center. This role provides leadership to clinical and administrative staff while ensuring high-quality, compassionate patient care and efficient department operations. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of the Cancer Care Center.
- Supervise, coach, and support nursing and non-clinical staff.
- Coordinate staffing, schedules, and daily patient flow.
- Partner with physicians and healthcare leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
- Monitor quality, safety, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Address patient concerns and support a positive patient experience.
- Lead staff meetings, performance evaluations, and employee development.
- Identify workflow improvements and implement process changes.
- Support oncology infusion operations and assist with staffing needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and serve as a resource for the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with billing, scheduling, registration, pharmacy, laboratory, and other departments as needed. Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare required; Master's preferred.
- Current Georgia RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license.
- 3+ years of healthcare management/leadership experience.
- 4-5 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
- Oncology experience preferred.
ONS/ONCC
Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy Certification required.- BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
- OCN certification preferred.
- Experience with healthcare scheduling, registration, billing/revenue cycle, or medical assisting is a plus.
