Job Description

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
Perform gastric lavage and other specialized procedures as required
Provide wound care and dressings
Administer injections and perform venipuncture for blood draws
Assist with ophthalmology procedures and eye care
Educate patients and their families on health coaching and self-care techniques
Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Cerner
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Provide support and comfort to patients receiving hospice care

Requirements:

Valid LPN license in the state of [Location]
Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques
Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and coding practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
