Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
• Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
• Perform gastric lavage and other specialized procedures as required
• Provide wound care and dressings
• Administer injections and perform venipuncture for blood draws
• Assist with ophthalmology procedures and eye care
• Educate patients and their families on health coaching and self-care techniques
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Cerner
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide support and comfort to patients receiving hospice care

Requirements:

• Valid LPN license in the state of [Location]
• Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques
• Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and coding practices
