Job Overview We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner Manager to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight across multiple ambulatory infusion centers within assigned locations in Washington. This leadership position will oversee a multidisciplinary team that may include Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, and pharmacy support staff. The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care, supporting and developing clinical staff, ensuring efficient clinic operations, and driving consistency across locations. This role requires a combination of advanced clinical expertise, people leadership, and strong operational skills. Regular travel throughout the assigned Washington territory is required. Must have an active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Washington or be eligible to obtain required state licensure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinical Leadership Provide remote and in-person clinical supervision in collaboration with physician leadership, including case discussions, care-plan development, escalated patient concerns and reactions, review of infusion protocols, and documentation audits. Ensure clinical protocols and safety standards are consistently followed across assigned locations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized, evidence-based patient care plans. Review treatment notes and patient documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Provide direct patient care when necessary to support clinic needs or demonstrate clinical skills and best practices for staff. Team Leadership & Development Lead a multidisciplinary team of clinical and support professionals across multiple clinic locations. Participate in interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new team members. Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and one-on-one meetings to support employee development and performance. Foster a collaborative and positive team culture focused on accountability, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care. Identify opportunities for training and professional development across the clinical team. Operational Management Oversee daily operations across multiple ambulatory infusion clinics, ensuring efficient workflows and consistent patient care delivery. Monitor clinic schedules, staffing levels, and resource allocation to optimize safety, productivity, and the patient experience. Maintain compliance with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Track and analyze clinic performance metrics, including patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, staffing, and operational efficiency. Develop and implement strategies to improve clinic performance and patient care delivery. Perform audits of inventory and supplies to ensure appropriate management and regulatory compliance. Quality Assurance & Compliance Monitor and maintain compliance with applicable regulatory standards, policies, and procedures. Support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives across assigned locations. Lead preparation efforts and support on-site activities related to regulatory audits and accreditation surveys. Conduct regular on-site visits to assigned clinics to observe workflows, meet with team members, and provide hands-on operational and clinical support. Provide real-time coaching and mentoring with an emphasis on continuous process improvement and exceptional patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage complex clinical and operational matters in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making capabilities. Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills, including the ability to quickly recognize and respond to medication or infusion-related reactions. Skilled in intravenous catheter placement and monitoring for infusion-related complications. Competent in the care, use, and maintenance of central lines. Demonstrated knowledge of infection-control precautions and sterile technique. Knowledge of IV medications, biologics, fluids, and blood components. Skilled in laboratory specimen collection using aseptic technique. Ability to partner effectively with referring providers, navigate challenging patient situations, and respond appropriately to patient concerns and grievances. Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR), email, and standard business applications. Ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Master's degree in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program required. Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state(s) of practice or ability to obtain required licensure. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience; infusion therapy or a related specialty strongly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership or management experience preferred. Demonstrated experience leading and influencing healthcare professionals with varying licenses and scopes of practice. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Current board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) required. This is a confidential search.
