Occupational Therapist Magnolia Adult Day Health Care - 1.0 El Cajon, CA Job Details Contract $55 - $65 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Patient treatment planning Patient progress monitoring Patient treatment Rehabilitation and recovery (patient care) Full Job Description 1. An initial assessment and reassessment of all participants' physical condition and functioning status. 2. The development of a treatment program when indicated, including status, goals and providing treatment. 3. Recording and signing treatments each day, noting method of treatment and reaction of participant and narrative notes (as needed). Also responsible for recording, dating, and signing quarterly progress notes. 4. Treatment of participants to achieve and maintain maximum performance. 5. Decrease or eliminate disability during participant' initial phase of recovery following injury or illness. 6. Increase or maintain the participants' capability for independence. 7. Enhance the participant's physical, emotional, and social well-being. 8. Guide participants in the use of therapeutic, creative and self-care activities for improving functions. 9. Instruction of other health team Personnel and family members in methods of maintaining and improving functioning. 10. Supervision of a maintenance program designed by an occupational and/or physical Therapist. The OT shall supervise the aides or other staff assigned to carry out specific activities developed by the occupational or physical therapist to help the participant maintain current levels of functioning.
