Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting as a full-time Occupational Therapist, where your expertise can make a daily difference supporting students' growth and success. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with students and educators across a full 40-hour work week, providing essential therapy services that foster independence and achievement in the school environment.

Key Qualifications:

Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting is strongly desired Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs Ability to conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with a multidisciplinary team Skilled in supporting students with a variety of physical, developmental, or sensory needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their individualized education programs (IEPs) Complete comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify student needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student goals Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Offer recommendations for adaptations and modifications to help students access the curriculum Engage in IEP meetings, providing expertise in goal setting and student progress This full-time contract role allows you to immerse yourself in the rewarding work of advancing student participation and success in the school environment.
