Duties Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, sensory processing, and other functional skills Assist patients with discharge planning by coordinating care transitions and providing home or community-based recommendations Deliver specialized therapy services for populations including pediatrics, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorders, and post-acute care patients in inpatient or outpatient settings Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, physicians, case managers—to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with clinical standards and medical terminology Support clients in occupational health programs, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, schools, or home health environments by implementing evidence-based occupational therapy programs Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program; valid licensure or certification as required by state or country regulations Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities across various settings such as inpatient care, outpatient clinics, schools, or home health Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neurodevelopmental disorders—including autism spectrum disorders—and medical terminology Skilled in developing treatment plans focused on improving ADLs and functional independence for diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable Proficiency in clinical documentation and medical record management using electronic health records (EHR) systems Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members while demonstrating empathy and professionalism Familiarity with implementing occupational therapy assessments and case management strategies for complex cases involving physical rehabilitation or neurodevelopmental support Join us to empower individuals through innovative occupational therapy practices that foster independence and enhance well-being.
