Job Description

Make a difference in students lives as a contract Occupational Therapist supporting schools near San Bernardino, CA. This role offers the chance to work with a dynamic caseload while collaborating with a supportive special education team in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid California Occupational Therapy (OT) license Experience or familiarity with school-based OT practices Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and schedules
Role Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to students, supporting their ability to access the educational curriculum Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and set appropriate goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and communication with staff and families Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers Deliver interventions to promote development of fine motor skills, self-care skills, and sensory processing within the school environment Manage a caseload with students across a range of ages and needs as assigned Benefits include highly competitive compensation, weekly direct deposit, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a matching 401k, and a flexible spending account.
