Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' growth and development in a school-based setting! We're seeking a contract Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide critical services across 2-3 school sites, working with a diverse K-12 population. With a balanced caseload of approximately 35-40 students, you'll make a meaningful impact throughout the school year. The assignment is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, beginning August 10, 2026 and continuing through June 4, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience:

Current Occupational Therapist license in California Previous experience with school-based OT strongly preferred Proficiency in IEP documentation and meetings, ideally using Siras and/or AbleSpace systems Ability to effectively serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade Skilled at collaborating with educators, multidisciplinary teams, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with a range of abilities and needs Develop and implement individualized therapy plans consistent with IEP goals Facilitate adaptive strategies to support academic success, functional independence, and participation in school activities Maintain accurate records and progress notes in alignment with school protocols and timelines Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and progress updates to teams and families Travel between assigned school sites to deliver services as scheduled A flexible, organized approach and strong communication skills will help you build positive relationships across your schools.
