Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in students' lives as an onsite Occupational Therapist in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity begins August 25, 2026, and runs through June 8, 2027, based at schools in the Wilmington, DE area. Full-time hours offer a rewarding balance between personal and professional life as you collaborate closely with educators, students, and families. Openings are available at three locations: Split caseload between Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary Schools Mount Pleasant Elementary School Split position serving both Middle and High School students
Key Qualifications:
Valid Delaware Occupational Therapist license (candidates must provide license and resume for submission) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement individual and group therapy plans Comfortable working across varied age groups and caseloads Please note: This position is not open to COTAs due to supervision requirements Candidates must be willing to pay for $85 CBC fingerprinting and confirm compliance
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student progress Deliver direct and consultative therapy services full-time, Monday through Friday Document student progress and maintain accurate records per school and state requirements Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams Benefits of this
