Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a dedicated occupational therapy professional. In this school-based role, you'll deliver impactful services to help students achieve their highest potential academically and functionally. You'll become a key part of a collaborative education team, working closely with teachers, support staff, and families to design interventions and accommodations that create an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Prior experience working in a K-12 school setting highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to develop and implement individualized student plans Collaborative mindset and flexibility working with diverse teams Competence in documentation and case management software
Responsibilities:
Screen, assess, and evaluate students referred for OT services Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy sessions Collaborate with teachers and staff on classroom adaptations Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Consult with families and caregivers to support carryover of strategies Attend IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and goal-setting Maintain accurate records and remain compliant with state and district policies
