Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist making a difference in a K-12 educational setting. This role is tailored for an OT passionate about supporting students' growth and development, with a preference for in-person interaction.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current OT licensure (or eligibility) for the state Previous experience in a school-based setting, particularly with K-12 students, is highly valued Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and families Knowledge of IEPs, 504 plans, and the special education process Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage caseload independently Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments tailored to the needs of K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address fine motor, sensory, and functional living skills Work closely with educators, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy recommendations into the classroom Maintain timely, accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings Provide direct therapy services in a nurturing, student-centered environment Offer consultative support and training to school staff and parents as needed Help foster an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere for all students As a valued Occupational Therapist on this team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives, gain experience across the K-12 spectrum, and enjoy the benefits of working in a collaborative, forward-thinking school environment.
