Key Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience working in school settings strongly preferred Understanding of IEP process, documentation, and providing therapy within an educational framework Ability to assess, develop, and carry out treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and more Collaborative approach to partnering with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students according to IEPs and district guidelines Assess student needs through evaluations, observations, and data collection Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals focused on increasing student participation and independence in the school environment Document all services provided and collaborate in IEP meetings Provide guidance and strategies to school staff and families to support classroom success Maintain regular communication with team members regarding student progress and challenges
