Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting students as a licensed Occupational Therapist for a school-based maternity leave assignment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a lasting impact by providing therapeutic services to students across multiple school sites in the Concord, NC area. You'll be joining a collaborative educational environment that values expertise and compassionate care.

Desired Qualifications:

Active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (must submit verification with application) Demonstrated experience providing school-based OT services Familiarity with ECATS reporting/documentation systems Ability to work effectively and independently across various school locations Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to students per individualized education plans (IEPs) Assess and document student needs, progress, and goals using ECATS Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to optimize student outcomes Travel between assigned school sites to provide itinerant services Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized program planning Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and district compliance standards Perks of this
