Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid NC Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and goal setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt strategies to suit various learning and developmental needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assess students' fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills Develop and implement individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to optimize support for each child Attend IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student plans Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress Support generalization of skills across academic and community settings
