Position:
Occupational Therapist - Regular Part Time (RPT)
Department:
Rehabilitation Services Reports to: Director of Rehabilitation Are you passionate about helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team in a regular part-time role working 24 hours per week . Bonus points if you are experienced in lymphedema training! In this position, you will evaluate and treat patients across a variety of ages and diagnoses, while collaborating with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient-centered care. What You'll Do:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide occupational therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed by physicians. Help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and participation in daily activities. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and home programs. Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes. Assist with activity programming and services for patients as appropriate. Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards. Participate in program development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current Nebraska Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure Current BLS certification Valid Nebraska driver's license Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Apply Today If you are dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest level of function and independence, we'd love to hear from you.
