Key Qualifications:

Current license, or eligibility to obtain a Pupil Service License through the Ohio Department of Education (a 5-year license, which may be pending upon start) Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Experience working with children or within a school setting is highly valued Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with students, educators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs) Evaluate and document students functional abilities and needs within the school environment Develop strategies and adapt classroom tasks to help students access the curriculum Communicate progress and recommendations to educational teams and parents Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support student growth and success What to
