9591389-97361 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a full-time occupational therapist within an Early Intervention (EI) Program. This role, beginning in August 2026 for the 2026-27 school year, offers the chance to make a real difference for early childhood students through direct therapy, evaluations, and collaborative team involvement. Youll be part of a welcoming and resourceful EI Team, working closely with other professionals to assess, plan, and implement interventions that encourage development in children at a critical stage of growth. As an itinerant OT, you'll travel between sites, providing services and expertise wherever it's needed most. Alongside your occupational therapy work, youll benefit from robust support and teamwork, ensuring youre equipped for success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active occupational therapy license (OT) appropriate for Oregon or eligibility to obtain prior to start Prior experience or interest in pediatric, early intervention, or school-based settings is highly preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary evaluation team and foster positive relationships with families and staff Excellent organizational, communication, and adaptability skills to thrive in an itinerant position Commitment to supporting young learners through a holistic and evidence-based approach

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and support early childhood students developmental needs in a school-based EI setting Collaborate with SLPs and other EI professionals to assess, plan, and provide interventions Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs and EI guidelines Engage actively in child study meetings and family consultations Keep thorough records and participate in ongoing evaluation processes This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your professional skills and impact lives at the start of their educational journey.
