School Occupational Therapist - Archbald, Pennsylvania

Job Description

Bring your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy to early childhood educational environments with this onsite contract opportunity. Support students in Lackawanna County with a flexible schedule of 21 hours per week across 2-3 days, with potential to expand to a full-time schedule as the year progresses. This position is ideal for professionals dedicated to fostering the development and success of young learners in school-based settings.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Pennsylvania required Experience working in school-based or early childhood settings preferred Demonstrated ability to support younger childrens developmental and learning needs Ability to provide or obtain current Pennsylvania clearances Comfortable working onsite within educational environments in Lackawanna County Reliable and flexible; able to adjust to scheduling as hours grow Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative OT services to children in early childhood education programs Assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions to support students functional and academic success Collaborate with educators, staff, and families for comprehensive support Document sessions, progress, and evaluations in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in team meetings and actively contribute to multidisciplinary planning Maintain compliance with all required documentation and policies
